RATING POINTS

Rating Points are calculated as follows:

Previous rating points x .8, plus the total A & B earned in the immediate past year, for example:

  Previous Rating Points 80
  Less 20% -16
    64
  Plus Last Years Points  
  EG 3A + 17B 20
  New Rating Points 84

The calculation is currently done at 31st December each year and the new Rating Points come into effect as at the 1st of February in the following year.

Please also note:

  1. Files for sessions held in prior years but only processed by NZ Bridge during the current year will contribute to the Rating Point calculation.
  2. Equally, current year files not received by NZ Bridge at the time the Ratings are recalculated wont contribute to the Rating Point Calculation.
